Michael J. Finkowski, MD
A board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist, Mike hales from western Massachusetts and served in the Army as a Medical Corpsman after receiving his BA at Harvard University. Mike earned his medical degree from the University of Vermont College of Medicine with additional post graduate studies, research and teaching at the Universities of Massachusetts, Harvard and Tufts. He moved to the Glens Falls area in the late 1980’s to raise a family and for a community he is very happy to call home.
Professional Highlights – Mike has been enthusiastically involved with the Glens Falls Hospital as an active staff member and serving on numerous committees, the highlight of which has been Chairman, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology from 2005-2008. He has also been Medical Director for Planned Parenthood and a lecturer at Adirondack Community College. He now serves in the role of President for North Country Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Personnel Passions – Mike has a passion for golf, but his true love is his family of three children and the immense joy he now experiences as a grandfather.
